Standing Together Against Domestic Violence in Alabama
We’re building a safer future — one voice, one story, one step at a time.
Who We Are & Why It Matters
We’re a women-led community supporting those impacted by domestic violence through safe space, healing, and connection. Alongside peer support and resources, we’re advocating for systemic change—including a public registry for DV offenders—so survivors are protected and empowered, not just personally, but publicly.
What we’re working on
-
We’re working on a first-of-its-kind registry of domestic violence offenders in Alabama to promote transparency and protect survivors. We now have an official bill, HB599 which would create a domestic violence registry. This bill is an important step toward preventing repeat abuse and increasing public safety—just like existing sex offender registries.
-
We host a private Facebook group where women can find community, resources, and support.
-
We’re collecting data and stories to help inform policies that center survivors and drive change.

“It’s so important to have resources like this, and to speak out against Domestic Violence. We are speaking out for so many who can’t or don’t.”
