Who we are
We’re a grassroots research and advocacy group committed to confronting domestic violence in Alabama — not just with words, but with action. Our team is made up of survivors, supporters, researchers, and advocates who believe in creating real, lasting change by centering the voices and experiences of women.
We’re not here to look away. We’re here to shine a light, collect the data, tell the truth, and build something better.
What We’re Doing
We’re currently focused on two major efforts:
Creating a Public Registry of DV Offenders in Alabama
Survivors deserve to know who they’re dealing with. Communities deserve transparency. We’re researching, advocating, and working with partners to bring this registry to life — and make it accessible to the public.
Holding Space for Women in Our Online Community
We host a private Facebook group where women can share stories, find support, and know they are not alone. Whether you’re healing, navigating systems, or just need to be seen and heard — you’re welcome here.
Why It Matters
Alabama ranks among the highest in the nation for domestic violence-related deaths. But the real story is in the silence — the women who aren’t counted, the harm that goes unreported, the systems that fail survivors over and over again.
We believe that naming what’s happening is the first step to changing it. Research gives us power. Stories give us soul. Community gives us strength.
